The CoffeeWithGames birthday gift goes to…

September 8, 2013

Coffee Beans
Last week, I posted up the “What’s a birthday without a gift? CoffeeWithGames turns 4!” post where I talked about what I had done on the site over the last 4 years, and what I plan to do moving forward with it. I was also giving away a CoffeeWithGames birthday gift of sorts, if you left some feedback on the post.

Well, the winner of the gift was……………………..Robert!!!!!

(His name is there, you just click and drag your mouse around it.)

What did he win, you might be wondering? The Humble Bundle Weekly Sale: Paradox Games bundle, which included Europa Universalis III: Complete, War of the Roses: Kingmaker, Warlock: Master of the Arcane, Leviathan: Warships, Dungeonland, and The Showdown Effect.

Hopefully the games can help him remain incomplete to an even greater extent, and thanks to everybody that provided feedback on the post!

Announcing the CoffeeWithGames Twitter contest winner…

Coffee Beans
Did you miss all the posts in May that showed how you could enter for a chance to win Psychonauts, Costume Quest, and Stacking? If so, starting in the middle of May I included in some of my regular Nintendo Channel data posts a way to enter to win the games, by simply using Twitter and tweeting out each post @ a company, and including a post specific hashtag in it as well.

From my count, there were seven chances to enter the giveaway (1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, and 7), but even with multiple opportunities to enter, only one person really took advantage of multiple chances to enter.

Congratulations to Jeremy on winning, and a big thanks to him for the multiple tweets and entering the contest! Jeremy is a regular around here (who even won the 2 years’ worth of coffee a few years back), and you can follow him on Twitter, HERE!

If you missed out on entering this giveaway, make sure to keep an eye (or two) open for ways to enter to win more game giveaways, in the very near future!

If you didn’t enter the contest, and are interested in the games, you can see see them on Amazon.com below:

The "Free Games Giveaway" winner is…

Coffee Beans
Last Saturday, I posted up the “Free Games Giveaway! Connect With Coffeepost. It contained details of how to enter a contest/giveaway for the PC games BIT.TRIP BEAT, Fieldrunners, SpaceChem, and Uplink. The contest/giveaway ended Thursday, and the picture above shows that I did the drawing for the winner as I have done in past contests. Empty coffee container, drop the names in it, shake it up, pull one out. The coffee container used for the drawing was a 33 oz. Maxwell House Gourmet Roast container that “MAKES UP TO 270 6 FL OZ CUPS” of coffee.

Who was the winner of the games? Jump past the break below to find out!

Caffeinated Thoughts
Thanks to everybody that entered the contest/giveaway. I laughed when I drew Robert’s name out of the coffee container, because if you don’t know, Robert has his own video game site titled IncompleteGaming. I thought it was funny he was the one that won the four games, helping him keep his site name legitimate!

If you missed the contest/giveaway post, you can see the original post HERE. Not only did the original post provide three ways to get entered into it, but with the additional data reports over the last week I provided an extra nine possible chances to be entered into the contest/giveaway, for a total of 12 possible entries.

Congratulations to Robert on winning the contest/giveaway!

The Winner of Some Ed Hardy Energy Snacks Is…

November 4, 2011

Coffee Beans
Last week, on October 25, I posted my review for some Ed Hardy Energy Snacks I had tried.  You can read my review of the Ed Hardy Energy Snacks HERE.
I used the Ed Hardy Energy Snacks to go 48+ hours without coffee, because I wanted to see if the Ed Hardy Energy Snacks really worked, and if they could keep me alert and energized like coffee does.
In my typical post fashion, I broke it up into four different sections and ended it with the “Question” section.  The very first question I asked was, “Would you like to try Ed Hardy Energy Snacks?”  I said if you did to simply reply in the comments with, “I want Ed Hardy Energy Snacks more than my coffee!“.
Well, the contest ended Tuesday night, and who won the Ed Hardy Energy Snacks giveaway?

Congratulations to Charlie, of NicodemusAtNite.com, who won the giveaway.  I let Charlie know last night that he won, and his package of Ed Hardy Energy Snacks will be mailed shortly.
Will the Ed Hardy Energy Snacks help provide Charlie with the energy and alertness he needs to survive his daily routines?  Perhaps we will find out from Charlie himself one day.

Caffeinated Thoughts
A big thinks to Charlie for entering, and I hope you enjoy the Energy Snacks.  If you missed entering this giveaway, there will be another Ed Hardy Energy Snacks giveaway in the very near future, so stay tuned.

>Red Steel Giveaway Winner Announcement!

May 1, 2011

>

The time has come!  On April 12 I published, “5 Years Ago, This Day…and GIVEAWAY!“, which was a post talking about how Ubisoft had confirmed in 2006 that Red Steel was being developed for the “Revolution”, but the post also contained details for readers to enter a Red Steel giveaway.
The deadline to enter the Red Steel giveaway was this past Tuesday night, April 26.
How did I go about drawing the winner, and WHO won the Red Steel giveaway?  The images below show it all:
Congratulations to Tim on winning the Red Steel giveaway!
While he comments on the blog as “Tim”, his follower name is “Schottgunn”.  His comment on the giveaway post was, “Hey Coffee!  I want Red Steel, but more than my morning cup of coffee?  I think that is on the border of blasphemy. 🙂
Thanks to everybody that entered, I appreciate the time and comments everybody left on the post, and the one thereafter about checking the email!  If you didn’t win this time(or even if you did, Tim), make sure to keep your caffeinated eyes peeled for more contests/giveaways in the future!

Contest Winner!

April 28, 2010
Last Wednesday, I started the very first Coffee with Games contest/give-away.
The contest is now closed, and it’s time to announce the winner!
How I chose the winner:
1) I kept an empty Folgers French Roast 240 cup coffee container.
2) I dropped the names of those that entered the contest, into the coffee container.
I put the lid on it, then shook the coffee container around, then opened the lid and pulled out the winner, Ben Picone!
Thoughts:
A huge thanks to everybody that entered!  This was my first contest on the blog, but it’s not the last one I have planned.
I did ask Ben what games he plans to use Wii Speak with, but I haven’t received a reply, as of the time of this posting.
