Thoughts:
Well, Amazon.com has Wii Fit Plus w/ Balance Board back in stock!  Not only is Wii Fit Plus w/ Balance Board back in stock, but it’s also sitting at the #1 spot, making it currently the most sold video game on Amazon.com.
Amazon.com had gone 12-weeks without the bundle in stock, and just yesterday when I checked they had it in stock, and again tonight!
Question:
Do you know anybody that’s been looking for Wii Fit Plus w/ Balance Board, but hasn’t purchased it due to them not being able to find it?
Do you think Amazon.com will run out of stock again of Wii Fit Plus w/ Balance Board, or do you think people may have given up looking for it, and Amazon.com will now be able to meet demand?

I’ll be watching the status of it on Amazon.com, and I really wonder how long it will stay in stock, and I wonder if Nintendo lost a lot of customers since January, because they weren’t able to find the bundle.

Wii Fit Plus’ review score average is 81.32% based on 19 reviews.
New Super Mario Bros. Wii’s review score average is 88.12% based on 54 reviews.
Thoughts:
11 weeks and counting.  Still no supply of Wii Fit Plus w/ Balance Board on Amazon.com.
Also this week, New Super Mario Bros. Wii is discounted by 15% on Amazon.com right now, to $42.54, the lowest I think it’s been when I’ve done the reports.
Wii Sports Resort is still putting up pretty decent hours each week, and hopefully continued sales of Wii Sports Resort, will mean better sales for games like Red Steel 2 and even Rage of the Gladiator(WiiWare), both of which use the Wii MotionPlus accessory.
Questions:
Do you find it interesting that Wii Fit Plus has the fewest review scores, out of these three games?
Why do you think it is?
Perhaps it’s because it would require the “reviewers” to be active?  Or maybe the cost is the reason?

Thoughts:
Guess what?  You probably already know if you’ve followed these reports, 10 weeks and counting!  Amazon.com has been out-of-stock of Wii Fit Plus w/ Balance Board for 10 weeks now.
The fact Amazon.com(and other stores) can’t keep Wii Fit Plus w/ Balance Board in-stock though, doesn’t prevent an “analyst” like Michael Pachter from saying Wii Fit Plus is “…finally starting to fade…”.

Amazon.com used to list Wii Fit Plus and Wii Fit Plus w/ Balance Board, under two tabs on the same page.
If you look at Red Steel 2‘s or Monster Hunter 3‘s Amazon.com pages, you can see what I’m talking about, as those two games are being sold with accessories or by themselves, just like Wii Fit Plus.
Amazon.com isn’t listing Wii Fit Plus w/ Balance Board anymore on the same page as Wii Fit Plus(software only).

I don’t know if they separated the games, due to the stock being an issue and third party vendors charging a good bit more for the game with the balance board, but that’s the only thing I can think of.

Question:
Have you been trying to purchase Wii Fit Plus w/ Balance Board, or do you know anybody that has been trying to purchase it?  If so, are you/they having trouble finding it?

Thoughts:
9 weeks!  Amazon.com hasn’t had Wii Fit Plus w/ Balance Board in stock for the last 9 weeks when I’ve checked for it.
Being curious as to when/if they were getting it back in stock, I contacted Amazon.com and was told they have sent a request to the “manufacturer”, in this case Nintendo, and that Amazon.com should have Wii Fit Plus w/ Balance Board back in stock within 20 business days.

If they get it back in stock at the end of March, that will be nearly three full months that Amazon.com will have been out-of-stock of Wii Fit Plus w/ Balance Board.

Something interesting that was reported(GoNintendo) and confirmed(VGChartz) last week is that a new Wii bundle is being sold at Wal-Mart.
The new bundle includes the Wii system, Wii Sports, and now Wii Sports Resort, as well as a WM+ accessory with the regular Wii Remote and Nunchuck.  The price for the new bundle is $199.99, essentially giving buyers of the bundle Wii Sports Resort for free.
I was in a local Wal-Mart this past Saturday morning and saw the bundle sitting on the shelf and a customer purchase one of the bundles, while I was in electronics.

I’m glad to see Nintendo getting WM+ out to more Wii owners, and I guess it’s a sign they are going to try and make it a new standard of control for Wii games.

Question:
Do you think Nintendo is going to start including a WM+ accessory with every Wii system that is sold, as they are doing with the Wii bundle currently at Wal-Mart locations?

Thoughts:

Thoughts:
8 weeks and counting, Amazon.com is still out-of-stock of Wii Fit Plus with the Wii Balance Board.
The starting price shown for Wii Fit Plus w/ Balance Board, when I was getting the data, was $158.88 for the package new.
Just a little more than two weeks ago, on Thursday February 18, 2010, I said, “I think New Super Mario Bros. Wii will pass Wii Sports Resort on May 1, 2010, when the data is updated that day.  I think both games will be reporting right around 6,800,000 “Total Hours” played, with New Super Mario Bros. Wii slightly ahead of Wii Sports Resort.”
Then last week, on February 23, 2010, I said that I thought New Super Mario Bros. Wii would probably cross 7,000,000 Total Hours reported this week.
Well, I was right and wrong.
New Super Mario Bros. Wii did pass Wii Sports Resort’s “Total Hours” reported played this week and both games had more than 6,800,000 hours reported as played.
New Super Mario Bros. Wii, though, didn’t pass 7,000,000 “Total Hours” played, being just 22,447 hours shy of passing it.
Question:
Is anybody surprised at how much trouble Amazon.com is having keeping Wii Fit Plus w/ Balance Board in stock?  I think it’s crazy that for the last 8 weeks, each time I check for the sales rank and price, Amazon.com hasn’t had Wii Fit Plus w/ Balance board in stock.
I wonder how long this is going to last.
