GameStop.com is now officially sold out of the Black Wii U Deluxe Set bundle, which has a MSRP of $349.99. The site is still taking pre-orders on the White Wii U Basic Set though, which has a MSRP of $299.99.
It took GameStop.com less than 48 hours to reach their limit of Wii U Deluxe Sets available for pre-order. If you have not pre-ordered a Wii U at your local GameStop store and plan on doing so this weekend, you should probably call the store before heading out if that is the only reason you are going.
If you are looking to pre-order/reserve the Black Wii U Deluxe Set online, you might want to check sites like BestBuy.com and ToysRUs.com.

Want Your Own Pikmin Pet? Buy Your Own.

Nintendo debuted Pikmin 3 at E3 this year giving it the first spotlight and coverage for their conference. As you can see in the image above, Mr. Miyamoto not only debuted the digital versions of the new Pikmin, but also came out with a stuffed red Pikmin “hiding” in his pocket.
When I saw him on stage with it, I actually thought, “Hmm, I wonder if those stuffed Pikmin toys are available to purchase?“, so I did a search.
From my search online, only one major retailer carries Pikmin plush toys that I have found, and the selection available varies a good bit. Wal-Mart, Target, and Toys R’ US did not have any stuffed Pikmin toys on their sites, and only listed the Nintendo Selects: Pikmin 2 game that will be releasing this Sunday when I searched “Pikmin”. Perhaps those retailers have them available in their stores? If you know they do, a comment verifying that would be great!

Where can you buy your own Pikmin pet? Amazon.com, both directly from Amazon and also from a third party vendor on Amazon.com, so make sure to look at the shipping costs if you see any you like. Take a look at the selection below:

Also, if you missed Pikmin 3’s debut at E3 this year, below is the trailer Nintendo showed for the game:

If you’re not aware, both GameStop and Amazon.com are now taking pre-orders/reservations on some of the Wii U games, and you can reserve Pikmin 3 on both below. Also, you can see the Nintendo Selects: Pikmin 2 below as well, and it will be releasing this Sunday on the Wii.
